Reprompt

Reprompt is a teleprompter for people who film themselves. On the Mac it is a real Mac app with a real menu bar, not an iPad app dropped into a window. It scrolls your script at your reading pace, records while it scrolls, and it does not lose your take.

A real Mac app

Space bar rolls and pauses. Arrow keys change speed. Command N starts a new script, Command I imports one, Escape closes the prompter. Resize the window and the text reflows. It is a desk prompter built for a webcam shoot, not a phone app in a bigger box.

It never loses your take

Your video is committed to disk in short fragments while you record, rather than written in one go at the end. If the app is interrupted or the machine goes to sleep, the take is still there when you come back, and Reprompt tells you it survived. Recording is part of Reprompt Pro.
