Name your file size

Most converters give you a quality slider and leave you guessing. Recast lets you say what the file needs to weigh, then works backwards to get there. Under 10 MB for email, under 25 MB, or a number you pick yourself.

Honest when it cannot get there

Sometimes a target simply cannot be reached at full resolution. Recast tells you plainly instead of quietly missing, and offers to shrink the video itself to get closer.
